Okay, I have a small but very effective suggestion when it comes to the safety of our accounts here on Helios. Though we seem to not have many problems now...What with Helios getting more popular by the day, I wouldn't be surprised that the number of hackers out there will show up. So! To protect a user's account from a hacker? The BEST, defense would be to add a pin # check for before a user can log into their account. For a user to set a pin # to their account, they could access the setting under Edit Profile. There, a user can set a 4 to 5 digit pin # to help protect their account. The pin # would take into effect as soon as one is set up. Then after a user logs out and then logs back in at whatever time after, they will be required to enter that pin #. Yes, I know this means it takes longer to get into your account. But isn't those few seconds worth it if someone hacks you? The pin # system should have a set amount of tries per day, and a way to where hackers cannot guess it. Users should be warned to always write down their pin # somewhere so they don't forget, and when they want to change the #, should be required to enter the previous # set in order to access it. Perhaps. So...While it may seem like annoyance when having to enter a pin # every time when you want too log in, but isn't it so worth it to have complete protection of your account with everything in it? I think this should seriously be considered, and I hope that it is added. I know I wouldn't want to be hacked.
